New Belgium’s Woody Tart and Wild Night

Love Master Jamie Mastin will be blending Cocoamole with Oscar and Love ales
in a firkin at La Trappe for the evening.
We will be pouring old favorites and Some hard to find brews such as:
La Folie – Wood-Aged Biere, the original wood-conditioned beer offered by New Belgium, resting in French Oak barrels between one and three years before being bottled.
Tart Lychee – The combination of our barrel-aged sour beer, Lychee Fruit puree, and cinnamon sticks.
Biere de Peche – Biere de Mars 2011 aged in Leopold’s Peach Whiskey Barrels for six months then livened up with wild yeast in the final fermentation.
Trip XV – Double style ale with dandelion and Orval yeast. Collaboration with Elysian Brewery in Washington State. It will be the first time in San Francisco.

We have acquired and stored Twelve different Zmatore series kegs just for this evening.
6pm – 9pm Formal Tasting – Industry and special guests with our host from B United International, Michael Hartman, and cheese pairings by Joe and Jasmine of Beer at Joe’s.
